What level of football and how much money do you need?

Ensure subs and training fees cover the following:

- ref fees
- pitch fees
- kit wash (never trust players to do this)
- medical kit
- league fees
- training fees

To balance this you need to ensure the club provides enough to make players want to play and stay with the club including the social side where you can boost coffers

- get a kit in the first instance donated by another side that you know ie an old kit of theirs laying around. Player can then, overtime have an input into your first kit and by putting names on shirts you can sell the shirt to players and reduce outlay on kit.
- find a local pub that will put on some chips and sausages for your team and the oppo after matches. Cheap for them as you will bring customers and arrange club nights including XMAS parties and end of season awards.
- find a local curry house or similar to sponsor you with monthly club meals in returns
- get all team members to sign up to your club affiliate scheme - http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/community/features
-do any players own or hold senior positions in a company? Get them to chuck in some £s
- every club event you run has to provide a little bit above break even to reinvest into the club including any tours, nights out (get some football scratch cards etc)

Hope that is s good starter for you and good luck

Go in local pubs ask if it's something they'd do & just make sure you go there after games that's what I did & they had no problem doing it as you'll pretty much spend what they'll give you over the season anyway.

You a regular in a pub?

Alternatively what we used to do was get one of the players firms to sponsor us for £500 a season (May have been a little more), as getting the pitch paid was the biggest outlay as subs took care of everything else.

That probably only works of you've known the players for a while though.
